She was predeceased by: her parents, Domingo Aguilar and Lucy Aguilar (O'Brien); and her siblings, Col. D. I. Aguilar, Rene Aguilar, Carmen and Virginia.

She is survived by: her husband Daniel Matychak Jr. of Ithaca; her children, Kelli Cartmill (Kevin) of Ithaca and Daniel Matychak III (Jillian) of Hamburg, NY.; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Lily Cartmill of Ithaca, Anna, Gabrielle and Nora Matychak of Hamburg; her sisters, Rita and Lisa; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Lubozynski (Dennis) and Thomas Matychak (MaryBeth). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
