We bid farewell to Mary Ahl (Ithaca, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 12, 2025 at the age of 77. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McAninch and Isabel McAninch; her spouse Amy Staples; her granddaughter Noodles; and her nephew Brendan McAninch.
She is survived by: her children, Kate Ahl (Barry) of Danby and Sid Ahl (Delphine) of New Canaan, Connecticut; her grandchildren, Colette, Aidan, Julian and Zeke; her siblings, Betsy Halford (Lee) of Dallas, Texas, Pete McAninch (Dana) of Loveland and Si McAninch (Shannon) of Sarasota, Florida; and her pets, Zadie and Ziggy. She is also survived by her children, her siblings, and her many dear friends.
