He was predeceased by: his son Ross; his daughter-in-law Jan; and his brother Kingsley. He is survived by: his children, Lorna Stern (Robert Laniak), Geoff and Kelly Stern; and his siblings, Chester and Grace. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
