It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peter Wei Ting Yu in Ithaca, New York, who passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ven Wei Yu and Paul P. C. Yu; his former wife Joan; his brothers, David and Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Celia.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria; his children, Kathleen (Mike), Daniel (late Mary Etta), David, Stephen (Samantha), Jonathan, Timothy (Charity) and Elizabeth (Ben); his grandchildren, Hannah (Jonas), Joshua (Sarah), Lydia, Jubilee, Judah, Peter, Tabitha, Dylan and Eleanora; and his great grandchild Declan.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church (8600 Academy Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fairview Memorial Park (700 Yale Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church Mission Fund in Peter's memory.
