It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert G. Bartholf (Ithaca, New York), who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Bartholf and Mary Bartholf (Farkas). He is survived by: his wife Lois I. Valentine of Olean, NY.; his close friend Joe Petricola (Pepsi); his sister Barbara; his children, Robert (Bobby), David Bartholf of Ithaca, NY, Daniel Bartholf (Lisa) of Tallahassee, FL, Mary Ann Brown (Fran) of St and Gary J. Bartholf of Ithaca, NY; his grandchildren, Cherie and Lauren Brown; and his great grandchildren, Lehandre, Anisah and Aniyah.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herson Wagner Funeral Home (110 S Geneva St, Ithaca, NY 14850). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (315 N Cayuga St, Ithaca, NY 14850). A graveside service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the East Lawn Cemetery (934 Mitchell St, Ithaca, NY 14850). The military honors was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice, Wounded Warriors Project, Website [email protected] , USO (United Service Organizations) website http://www.uso.org or a charity of one's choice in Bob's name.
