She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Miller and Ruth Miller; her husband Cyril Manning; her children, Orlando Manning of New York and Shaniqua Manning Muhammad of Seattle, Washington.; her grandchildren, Shakirah, Omega, Kamal and Yasmeen; her son-in-law Benjamin Muhammad; her siblings, Munajj Madyun and Loleta Bobo of Riverview, Florida.; her aunt Odessa Moore; and her siblings' children, Charles Miller, An-Nisa Miller, Tanisha and Danielle Bobo.
