It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bart Smith of Jamestown, New York, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Smith and Linnea Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Craig Smith (Katie) of Lancaster, NY, Carna Smith-Warner (Bill) of Lakewood, NY and Laura Starner (Steve) of Philipsburg, PA; his nieces and nephews, Joshua (Alex), Justin Morcelle (Karissa), Dr. Jillian (Marc), Jacob Smith, Colby (Courtney), Taylor (Courtney), Nathan Chamberlin (Alyssa), Ryan (Tracey) and Linnea Onuffer (Bob Wynn); his uncle Nels Frick; and his aunt Sally Frick.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Stunk Rd, Jamestown.
