She was predeceased by: her parents, William Boerst and Rosemary Boerst (Herkert); her husband David Blixt Sr.; and her siblings, William Boerst and Barbara Ann Slumsky.
She is survived by: her children, David A. "Scrubby" Blixt Jr. of Frewsburg, NY, Amy Lou Gustafson (Dan) of Pinehurst, NC, Dan Blixt of Florida, Dage Blixt (Kim) of Dale City, VA and Jody Lou Blixt (Joey) of Jamestown, NY; her grandchild Paige Bulko (Alex) of Aberdeen, NC; her children, Ryan Gustafson (Megan) of Hope Mills, NC, Abigail Blixt and Ellie Blixt of Pittsburgh, PA; her great grandchildren, Lorelai Bulko, Hunter and Hayden Gustafson; her son Jari Lehto (Katri); and her brother Robert Boerst (Jill) of The Villages, FL.. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
