She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cheney and Helen Carlson Cheney; her husband William Tota; and her siblings, Daniel Cheney, Beth Gustafson, David Cheney and Carol Stearns.

She is survived by: her children, Daniel Tota (Linda) of Jamestown, Megan Destro (Steve) of Lockport, Scott Tota of Jamestown and Michelle Loucks (Timothy) of Lockport; her grandchildren, Helena Destro Pericak (Tommy), Jared Destro, Jake Tota (Abby), Geoffrey Tota, Brea Poston (Cade), Luke Tota (Madison Caflisch) and Cooper Loucks; her stepgrandchildren, Daniel and Allison Courtney; her great grandchildren, Landon, Colton and Harper Tota; and her sister Barbara Dunderdale of Lakewood.
