In loving memory of Carolyn Joan Smith of Jamestown, New York, who departed this world on August 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Carolyn leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Esther DeVlieger and Bert DeVlieger, Sr.; and her siblings, Carl Stevens, Bob DeVlieger and Pam DeVlieger.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Earl Smith; her daughter Tammy Blair (Robert); her grandchildren, Felicia Gage and Lucas Blair; her daughter Tina Sitterley (Jim); her grandchildren, Amanda Paddleford and Dustin Sitterley; her daughter Tiffany Johnson (Christopher Kellogg); her grandchildren, Justin and Alyssa Johnson; and her siblings, Charlotte Greenawalt and Bert DeVlieger, Jr.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701).
The family suggests memorials be made to the Audubon Community Center.
