He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Holmes and Leila Bernard Holmes; his son Richard Holmes; and his brother Winston Holmes. He is survived by: his children, Kamile Holmes of Jamestown, N. Y, Jacqueline Folkes of Trelawny, W. I. and Gary Holmes of Jamestown, N. Y; his brother Anthony; and his sister-in-law Sheree Williams. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
