David will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor David by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though David is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. David’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Myers and Mary Jane [Samuelson] Myers; his former wife Shirley L. Myers; and his adoptive daughter Katie. He is survived by: his wife Lynn C. Myers; his son Gregory D. Myers of Jamestown; his sister Sally A. Myers of Grantville, GA; and his stepchildren, Tyler [Jennifer] Smith of Randolph, NY. and Deborah Lacks of Bemus Point, NY. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be donated to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care or the Chautauqua County Humane Society.
