He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Johnson and Candis Pool Johnson; his wife Paula Salone Johnson; and his brother Bryan Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Eric Johnson (Tricia) of Falconer and Stephanie McIntyre of Lakewood; his grandchildren, Brandon Johnson (Journee), Brock Johnson (Kayla), Jaxin Johnson, Alyssa and Gaige McIntyre; and his pet Baby.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
