She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore DeSano and Francis DeSano; her husband William B. Newark; her son Thomas Woodruff; and her siblings, Anthony DeSano and Marie Gagliardo.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Wiltsie of Jamestown, Lawrence Williams (Lori Elle) of Falconer and Lynn Tanner (Dewayne) of Frewsburg; her daughter-in-law Tammy Woodruff of Lakewood; and her sister Rose Piazza of Greenhurst. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
