He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Stewart and Lois Wallin Stewart Jungquist; his stepfather Leo Jungquist; and his brother Roy "Butch" Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Swanson Stewart; his children, Robert Stewart of Jamestown, Barbara Langford of Oakland, MD and Alissa Carroll of Clayton, NC; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Langford, Andrew Langford and Annabelle Carroll; his sisters, Cynthia Taft of Ocean Isle, NC and Marlene Sanders of Bemus Point; and his stepmother Jo Stewart of Bemus Point.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to Shrine Children Hospital Erie unit, St Jude's Children's Hospital.
