Gust Swanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 3, 2025, at the age of 86, Gust Swanson (Jamestown, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Swanson and Virginia Arp Swanson; and his siblings, Gladys Walters, Mabel John, Robert, Paul and Carl Swanson.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Mierzwa Swanson; his sons, Barry Swanson (Barbara) of Jamestown and Jeffrey Swanson (Molly) of Busti; his grandchildren, Mikaela, Emily Swanson, Emma and Jacob Martin; and his sisters, Louise Brown (Bob) of East Randolph and Susan Bush of East Randolph.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
