She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sterling and Lucille Van Guilder Sterling; her former husband Alton Thompson; her husband C. Wendell Ongley; her son Ronald Thompson; and her sister Martha Glace.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Goff (Wayne) of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Lisa Harris of Denver, CO and Andrew Trostle (Jamie) of Rochester, NY; her stepdaughters, Lorraine McNulty (John) of West Windfield, NY, Cathy Heywood (Stewart) and Melody Indelicato (Andre) of Jamestown; and her stepgrandchildren, Seamus McNulty, Jessica Weise (Seth), Valerie Addy, Alisha and Alexander Heywood.
