It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Tobias (Jamestown, New York), born in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Tobias and Gloria Smith Tobias; his wife Lynne Robinson Tobias; his grandchildren, Trevor Waterhouse and Brittany Lynne Waterhouse; and his brothers, Bruce, Dennis and Dave Tobias.
He is survived by: his pet Dolly; his children, Tracy Waterhouse (Scott Nybeck) of Horseheads, NY, William Waterhouse of Jamestown, Clayton Tobias (Billy Jo) of Busti and Steven Tobias (Nicole Doepp) of Busti; and his siblings, Gregory Tobias (Alice), Veronica Young (Eldon), Karen Hilliard, Diane Brink (Ken), Wendy Baer and Lisa Carnes (Ricky). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
