With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M. Hooven of Jamestown, New York, born in Corry, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 8, 2022 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norris S. Hooven and A. Louise "Dolly" Hooven of Corry, PA; his wife Sandra D. "Sandy" Hooven; his children, Alicia Frantz (Jeremiah) of Lisbon, OH and Eric Hooven (Amber) of Jamestown, NY; his grandchildren, Caleb, Logan, Karson, Korbyn, Kipten, Nova and Mikala; and his brother Timothy Hooven of Erie, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bethel Lutheran Church, 904 West Third St. Jamestown, NY 14701.
