He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Perry and Irmal Tonkin Perry; his wife Jeanette L. Bull Perry; his grandson Conner Brooks; his brother William C. Perry; and his brother-in-law John Johnson.

He is survived by: his daughters, Melania L. Brooks of Spotsylvania, VA and Dennett L. Carpenter of Jamestown; his grandchildren, Michael K. Brooks (Jennifer), Marie Carpenter Johnston (Steve) and Melissa Colburn (Jesse); his great grandchildren, Lillian Brooks, Tessa Brooks, Zander Colburn, Samuel Johnston and Nicholas Johnston; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Olivia Kreamer and Jacob Booth; his sister Carole Johnson of Jamestown; and his sister-in-law Harriet Perry of Wisconsin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
