He was predeceased by: his father James C. Schnars Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Christine Schnars; his children, Oliver J. Schnars and Lilly J. Schnars; his siblings, Kelly Schnars, Bonnie Schnars and John Schnars (Michele); and his siblings' children, Emma Schnars, Genevieve Pittorf, William Schnars, Violet Pittorf, John Schnars and Margaret Schnars. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home, Inc. (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lake View Cemetery (907 Lakeview Ave, Jamestown, NY 14701).
