Jay Doverspike Obituary

We bid farewell to Jay Doverspike of Jamestown, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 19, 2026 at the age of 90. Jay touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Doverspike and Twila M. Riechard Doverspike; his wife Emegene L. Troup Doverspike; his granddaughter Misty Dillingham; his siblings, Jack, Jimmy, Max Doverspike, Laurine Burkhouse, Charlotte Doverspike, June Geist and Shirley Barberstock; and his stepbrother Carl Miller.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jason Vinton, Daniel Vinton, Melissa Jone, Melinda Haymes, Crystal Peelman and Richard Doverspike Jr.; and his sisters, Ramona Nord and Kay Filegar. He is also survived by six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
