He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Elizabeth Carlson Rappole; his children, Brigetta Rappole Earthy (Ian) of Jamestown, John Hilton "Jay" Rappole Jr. (Nyree) of Front Royal, VA and Nathaniel Brian "Nate" Rappole of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Rachel (Scott), Linnea (Austin), Zachary (Bekka), Julianne, Isabelle and Lauren; his great grandchild Phoebe; and his siblings, Dr. Bert Rappole, MD (Mary), Dr. Robert "Doc" (Barbara) and Rosemary Randolph-Rappole (Diane). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
