He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa Massey (Awald); and his siblings, Robert and Joan. He is survived by: his cousins, Jim Awald (Anna), Janice King (Awald) of North Carolina and Robert Warren (Linda) of Florida; his friends, Lori and Jim Foti; his close friend Peter; and his caregivers, Lori, Connie and Dave.
Memorials may be made to The Falconer Vet Clinic c/o Brenda Goodwill so she can continue to help cats as John did; or to Chautauqua County Hospice & Palliative Care.
