She was predeceased by: her uncle Peter Levandowski; and her grandmother Marjorie Nordstrand. She is survived by: her husband Dennis; her parents, Allen M. Swanson and Kaaren Nordstrand Swanson of Jamestown; her sister Lou Ann Swanson of Greensboro, NC; her sibling's children, Scott Swanson of Erie, PA and Kelly Herrera of Barnegat, NJ; her uncle Jerry; and her aunts, Carol Johnson of Lake Wales, FL and Kathy Levandowski of Lakewood. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
