He was predeceased by: his mother Joyce C. Connelly Axelson; his sister Wendy Sue Axelson; his grandparents, Ralph C. and Mary L Axelson; his aunt Sue; and his uncle Dick Wright.
He is survived by: his father David R. "Skip" Axelson (Pat Bartoldson); his brother Scott Axelson; his caregiver Peggy Anzalone (Territo); his pets, Milo, Pumpkin, Howard, Onyx and Dolcezza; Robert Benson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Kiantone Congregational Church (646 Kiantone Rd, Jamestown, NY 14701).
