With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary E. Hedin of Jamestown, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Fies and Clara Reimer Fies; her husband Nels Hedin; and her brother David Fies. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Hedin (Anne) of Jamestown, Rev. Jeffrey Hedin (Ruth) of Pittsford, NY and Dr. Neil Hedin (Johanna) of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Dr. Carrie Thangamani (Vijay), Eric Hedin (Sandra), Stephen Hedin (Christine), Elizabeth Rupp (Philip), Andrew Hedin (Meredith), Sophia and Annika Hedin; and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Nathan Thangamani, Joseph, Genevieve Hedin, Autumn, Harper, Riley Hedin, Owen, Haley Rupp, Ryan and Nicole Hedin.
