He is survived by: his wife Concetta Nicole Akins; his children, Jude Tuitt, Maurissa Akins, Maurianna Akins, Maurkies Akins, Mauquan Akins, Marcus Akins and Eloise Akins; and his siblings, Debra Akins (Jarnett), Evalyn Akins, James Simpson, Edna Akins (Davis), Ikasha M Rodwell, Michelle Robinson, Monea Robinson, Micheal Robinson and Oswald D Harvey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
