It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Lorraine Barr (Jamestown, New York), who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Barr and Janice Servis Barr. She is survived by: her boyfriend Victor; her siblings, Donna Tracy (Bob) of Mayville, Darlene Zimmerman (Jim) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Gary Barr (Donna) of Toano, VA; and her siblings' children, James Zimmerman (Michelle) of Columbia, SC, Rob Tracy (Melissa) of Fredonia, Christine Potts (Richard) of Falconer and Jessica Fawcett (Eric) of Toano, VA.

Masks must be worn, and social distancing is required while inside the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Road, Jamestown, NY 14701.

“We will miss Nancy dearly. We knew her from special olympics for about 15 years, and we really enjoyed being around her.. we would see her in the stores and other places and we always had a great time talking and joking around. She always always asked about our three cats and if Mark had been cleaning the cat litter to which I always said no, and she’d always tell me to pack up my things and come live with her. Then she would reprimand Mark. She was full of love and a dear dear friend.God bless”
