He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Schuyler Burkett and Helen Margaret Burkett (Dillingham); and his brother Stanley Schuyler Burkett. He is survived by: his wife Sonya Ruth Bore; his daughters, Marta Burkett (Sune) of Senja, Norway and Sarah Gretchen-Burkett (Lee); his grandchildren, Sophia Isabella-Burkett Montoya and Jaylyn Marie Montoya of Broomfield, Colorado.; and also Pamela Faith Westley (Burkett).
