He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Edith Hoard; his children, Roseanne Nelson-Cochrane, Charity Nuse, Stephanie Bemis-Rowe, Chris Kane, Jamie Clifton and Robert Clifton; his great grandchildren, Jerecho Johnson, Phoenix Luvison, Eric Pettabon, Sophie, Miley Nelson, Tyler Bemis (Daughter-Raven Bemis), Annessa Trask, Britney Clifton, Chasity Clifton-Rico, Jamie Clifton Jr., Spencer Clifton, Derek Traver and Chelsea Clifton; his wife Dorothy Cochrane (Wheeler); and also, Avery Winston, Keegan Raysor and Jaidyn Huff. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
