He was predeceased by: his father Robert R. McAdoo Sr. of Indiana; his sister Brenda McAdoo; his niece Brandy Wilkie; and his uncles, Harvey and William Palmer.
He is survived by: his mother Wilma McAdoo of Jamestown; his children, Robert A. McAdoo (NeKeisha) of Jamestown, Meghan Wilson of Springfield Ill and Rebecca McAdoo of Springfield Ill; his grandchildren, Liam, Elliott McAdoo of Jamestown, Krysta, Naomi McAdoo, Damon Bolinger of Springfield Ill, Matthew Wilson and Jayden McAdoo of Taylorville, Ill.; and his siblings, Debra Allison (Clifford) of Blairsville, Shelley Whittaker (John) of Jamestown and Calvin McAdoo of Jamestown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and an aunt.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home, Inc. (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). The military honors will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lake View Cemetery (907 Lakeview Ave, Jamestown, NY 14701). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made in Robert's name to the Lind Funeral Home to help defray the cost of his funeral expenses. Other donations may be made in Robert's name to a local veteran's charity of one's choice.
