He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley A. Darling and Marie A. LaMountain Darling; his daughter Heather Nicole Lorenzo; his siblings, Michael P. Darling, Gregory E. Darling and Karen Sue Darling; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Darling and Paul Peru; and his nephews, Michael and Mickey Darling.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Gustafson Darling; his siblings, Diane Peru of Jamestown, Keith Darling (Cindy) of Kiantone, Robert Darling (Carol) of Jamestown, Charles Darling of Fluvanna and David Darling (Bonnie) of Jamestown; and his siblings' children, Jessica and Steven "Fred" Solinger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
