She is survived by : her husband Douglas Stapleton of Luke's Episcopal Church; her grandchildren, Laura, Benjamin (Rachel), Alexander Ludwig (Tracy), David Snow (Alicia), Jennifer Stapleton (Juan), Dr. Amanda Stapleton (Eric) and Tyler Stapleton (Jackie); her children, Kathleen L. Ludwig (Charles) of Ashville, NY., Elizabeth A. Snow (late Jim Snow) of Lakewood, NY and David R. Stapleton (Wickie) of Ashville, NY.; her great grandchildren, Jonah, Abbigail Ludwig, Logan, Eden Ludwig, Riley, Carter Snow, Lucas, Natalie, Adrienne Helm and Ethan Calle; and her nephew Craig Johnson (Kathy) of Sylvania, Ohio..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's (410 N Main St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A burial was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at the Lakeview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Luke's Episcopal Church, honoring Ruth's enduring faith and legacy of love.
