It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally DePetro of Jamestown, New York, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Michael J. Farnella and Prospera "Pearl" Farnella; her husband Arnold R. DePetro Sr. of John's R. C. Church; and her son-in-law Thomas A. Buttafaro. She is survived by : her sister Josephine Farnella; her children, Arnold R. DePetro Jr. (Pamela) of Jasper, GA, Jeffrey D. DePetro, Susan D. Carlson of Jamestown, Michelle D. Buttafaro of Jamestown and Anne Windom (Hugh) of Sarasota, FL; her grandchildren, Michael DePetro (Heather) of Smyrna, GA, Paige Baker (Courtney) of Washington, D. C., Laura DePetro (Sam) of Atlanta, GA, Christopher Carlson (Emily) of College Park, MD, Stephen Carlson (Allie) of Jamestown, NY, Melissa Lisciandro (Sam) of Jamestown, NY, Andrew Buttafaro (Cioli) of Mokena, IL, Kaitlyn Hefelfinger (Matt) of Pittsburgh, PA, Caroline Nigro (Chris) of Sarasota, FL, Porter Windom (Megan) of Pace, FL, Grant Windom (Amanda) of Cambridge, MA and Reed Windom of Philadelphia, PA; and her great grandchildren, Vince, Violet, Conrad, Sloane, Bella, Sammy, Tommy, Sebby, Stella, Walker, Holden, Kennedy and Madison. She is also survived by great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Apostles Parish (508 Cherry St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (508 Cherry St, Jamestown, NY 14701).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Apostles Parish and Chautauqua County Hospice & Palliative Care, organizations that were close to Sally's heart.
