It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Salvatore Liuzzo Sr. of Jamestown, New York, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Liuzzo and Rosaria Calabria Liuzzo; his wife Edda Galbato Liuzzo; his daughter Sally L. Hammond; and his siblings, Joseph, Sebastian, Vincent Liuzzo, Carmello Liuzzo and Franca Galbato.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Liuzzo Watson (Bill Massa) of Jamestown and Salvatore "Sam" Liuzzo, Jr. (Stephanie) of Ashville; his grandchildren, Rick Hammond (Alison) of Jamestown, Christopher Hammond (Courtney) of Jamestown, Chelsea Watson (Marcus Hert) of Jamestown, Kyle Liuzzo (Kelly Dalton) of Jamestown, Mitchell Liuzzo of Jamestown and Michael Watson (Olivia) of Soddy-Daisy, TN; his great grandchildren, Riley Anderson, Rocco, Sylvia, Adrian, Emory Hammond, Sophie Hert and Millie Watson; his sister Lena Galbato of Milan; and his sister-in-law Maria Parasiliti of Torino, Italy..
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lind Funeral Home, Inc. (805 W 3rd St, Jamestown, NY 14701). A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church N (27 Allen St, Jamestown, NY 14701).
