She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin E. Purdy and Mildred Brewer Purdy; her sister Diana Farnsworth; her grandparents, Francis, Florance Brewer, Stanley and Josephine Bialczak; her nieces, Kari, Liandra, Toya and Kiersten; and her cousin Danielle.

She is survived by: her siblings, Terry Rowland, Martinette Waid and Paul David Purdy; her nieces and nephews, Sara, Roger Paine, Nicqura, George Rowland, Jr., Eddy Purdy, Brandi, Shyanne, Shelly, Kimberly, Tara, Kristy Jo, Wendy and David; her cousin Barbara; and her pet Bella.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Lind Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses or to Sharon's favorite charity, New Hope Assistance Dogs, Inc., c/o Sharon O'Brien Memorial Fund, 3 Scott Rd., Warren, PA 16365.
