It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherdena Brackman (Jamestown, New York), born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Christopher Brackman and Nell Davidson Brackman; her brother James Albert Bess, Jr.; her great grandchild Nakyrah Brackman; her sister Ollie J. Turner; and her friend Mary A. Walker.
She is survived by : her children, Jeffrey L. Brackman of Hickory, N. C., Ernest T. Rodgers (Kristen) of Jamestown, N. Y. and Regina L. Brackman of Jamestown, N. Y.; her grandchildren, Camisha Wilson of Jamestown, N. Y., Tasha Rodgers of Jamestown, N. Y., Jeffrey L. Brackman, Jr. of Hickory, N. C., Michael Brackman of Bradenton and Lacey Johnson; her great grandchildren, Fanisha Wilson of Indiana, Zanayah Brackman of Jamestown, N. Y., Jeffrey L. Brackman, III and Roman Brackman of Williamson, N. Y.; her great great grandchildren, Alexis Wilson of Indiana and Jayden Brackman of Bradenton, FL; her sisters, Patricia Sharp (Donald) of Sinclairville, N. Y., Catherine Bess Harrison and Joyce Bess of Jamestown, N. Y.; and her friends, Lila Howard of Chicago, IL and Betty J. Richardson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
