She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Sr. Dean and Alice Haines Dean; her boyfriend Gordon D. Pangborn; and her siblings, Gary Dean Sr., Judith Beardsley, Robert Dean, Garland "Butch" Dean Sr., George Dean and Ruth Dean.
She is survived by: her children, Ashley Jones (Jonathan), Michelle Shafer, Dylan Shafer, Gordon "Buddie" Pangborn Jr. (Brittney) and Connie Shafer; and her grandson Garth W. N. Shafer. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
