He is survived by: his close friend Lois Dickson Palin; his children, Jeff Palin (Beth), Dede Torrens (John) and Steve Palin (MaryE); his grandchildren, Zach, Josh, Kyle (Alexa), Carlena, Mack, Nick and Abby; his sisters, Betsy Hansen (Peter) and Linda McCarthy (Bill); and his siblings-in-law, Margie Jones (David) and Bob Dickson (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
