He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Scheftic and George Scheftic; his siblings, Katie Daley Talley (Monroe), Irene Alexander (Lee), George Scheftic (Roselle) and Paul Scheftic (Anna Mae); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Summerville Sr., Mike Holm and Sue Mueller.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Scheftic (Mueller); his children, Chuck Scheftic Jr. (Lorraine), Mike Scheftic, Cathleen Ready (Rich Klaiber) and Anne Stevens (Christopher); his grandchildren, Elizabeth De La Roca (Eric), Patrick Ready, Charlie Scheftic III (Michael), Michael Ready, Mary Katherine Scheftic, Tim Scheftic, Monica Stevens, Leah Stevens, Mark Stevens and Matthew Stevens; his great grandchild Greta Scheftic; and his siblings-in-law, Jane Summerville, Cathy Holm, Carol Scheftic and Norb Mueller Sr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
