As Duane departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Duane may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Duane leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his father Glen E. Lewis. He is survived by: his mother Sharon Reese Lewis of Chiefland, FL; his sisters, Doris (Tom Rude) of Elmira and Connie (Terry Dieter) of Cameron; and his nieces, Kousha Rude (Levi Carling), Rebecca Decker (John), Trisha Rude (Matt Cook), Kasandra Oles, Alicia Bynum (Cody) and Amber Oles (Chris Whritenour). He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, aunts and cousins.
The military honors will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
