He is survived by: his wife Deborah Tharas (Booth); his children, David Tharas (Kelly), Jeannie L. Tharas, Timothy Tharas (Nicole) and Tracy Farrell (Michael); his sister Madeleine Purdy (Thomas); his grandchildren, Briana (Greg), Ryan (Alyssa), Dylan, Dustin, Danielle, Deanna, Danilyn, Dacey, Daelyn, Dayla, Dalena and Dean; and his great grandchild RJ. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a cause that was meaningful to Jay.
