He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund J. Puerschner and Virginia L. Mathern Puerschner; his daughter-in-law Audra Spath; his grandchildren, Baylee Anne Spath and John Wayne Spath, III; and his sister-in-law Sharon Puerschner.
He is survived by: his wife Judy C. Butherus Puerschner; his children, Edmund Puerschner (Janet Myers) and Janay Puerschner; his stepchildren, John Spath (Juliete Gabel) and Jennifer Clark (Gary Clark); his grandchildren, Kevin Puerschner, Nile Puerschner, Devon Clark, Nicholas Clark (Alexia), Ashley Clark, Karlee Spath and Kara Spath; his siblings, Robert Puerschner and Patricia DePasquale (Frank); his cousin Gary Mathern (Myra); and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Fedde and Dian Brown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
