He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Huggler and Elizabeth Huggler; and his siblings, Genevieve Huggler, Jean Caletka and Thomas Huggler.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Huggler; his children, Michael Huggler (Julie), Michele Biviano (Gary) and Susan Dadamio (James); and his grandchildren, Maureen Huggler, Sarah Germano, Matthew Huggler, Michael Biviano (Jaclyn), Maria Stogner (Joshua), Vincent Dadamio, Nicholas Dadamio and Justine Dadamio. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Melvin's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
