She was predeceased by: her husband Fred L. Clark; her parents, Mary Biesecker and Lysle Burchell; her sisters, Margaret Croucher, Edna Stack, Dorothy Bors and Sandra Drake; and her nephews, John Burchell, Michael Stack and David Croucher.

She is survived by: her brother Norman John Burchell; her brother-in-law Jack Croucher; and her daughters, Judy Price and Corky Clark. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Mercy House of the Southern Tier in honor of Shirley.
