He was predeceased by: his grandson Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Catherine D. Collett Herrington; his children, Angela Marie Herrington (Andrew) and Burton VanBuren (Alicia); his grandchildren, John Michael, Aubrey Noel, Nicholas, Aislyn and Emery; and his siblings, Scott Herrington (Verlene), Wendy Calhoun (Dan), Pamela Doty (Theodore "Ted"), Melinda Turco (Paul), Cindy Lou Newman (Howard) and Holly Burke (Ronald "Ron"). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
