It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan J. Hart (Johnstown, New York), born in Amsterdam, New York, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan Hart and Ruth Savoie Hart; his cousin John Woodford; his brother Thomas Hart; and his daughter-in-law Kristin Hart.
He is survived by: his wife Cecelia B. Traver; his former wife Cecelia Putkowski of Hagaman; his children, Pamela Buchner (Rocky) of Galway, Jeffrey Hart of Cobleskill and John Hart of Perth; and his sister Mary Giannetti of Rotterdam Junction. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
