She is survived by: her caregivers, Chris Gerlach, Suzanne, Cassondra, Abigail, Jacqueline, Vicky, Janea and Marie; her children, Richard String, Denise LaFountain, Steven String (Linda) and Lisa Swedick (John); and her grandchildren, Bridgette Bonilla, Katie Headwell (Rob), Catherine LaFountain-Rowe, Steven String Jr. (Jolene), Brett String (Megan), Evan Swedick (Fiona), Morgan Girard (Dylan), Sydney Swedick, Ayden Swedick and Brielle Swedick. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the A. G. Cole Funeral Home (215 E Main St, Johnstown, NY 12095). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the A. G Cole Funeral Home (215 E Main St, Johnstown, NY 12095). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Fern Dale Cemetery (545 N Perry St, Johnstown, NY 12095).
