She was predeceased by: her husband Richard C. Pierone; and her parents, Bernard Thompkins and Karen Hanvey Thompkins. She is survived by: her sister Beverly Vertucci of Northville; her children, Shelly Dufrene (John) of Gloversville, Fred Oare, Jr. of Gloversville and Ronald P. Pierone (Tonya) of Gloversville; and her stepchildren, Ricklynn Kuhlkin (Mark) of Rotterdam, Richard J. Pierone (Karen) of Rotterdam and Robert Pierone (Tina) of Rotterdam. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
